AmeriPath is one of the nation's largest physician and laboratory companies focused on providing anatomic pathology, cancer diagnostic, and healthcare information services to physicians, hospitals, national clinical laboratories and managed care organizations. Presently operating in 24 states, we provide medical services through outpatient pathology laboratories, hospital inpatient laboratories, and outpatient surgery centers.
AmeriPath has an immediate opening for a Territory Sales Manager in the Oklahoma territory. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and securing new business growth that meets or exceeds AmeriPath revenue targets. The position will identify and present AmeriPath services to key decision makers and end-users within the target market. Job responsibilities include conducting sales calls, tracking of sales activities and submitting timely reports.

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
· Strong organizational and planning skills
· Negotiation skills
· Develop and sustain strong customer relationships
· Account management
· Strong leadership potential.
· Understanding of pathology industry, reimbursement issues, physician offices, managed care and anatomic pathology testing.
· Computer skills with all MS Office products.
· Understanding of sales process
· Ability to analyze potential markets, plan selling activities and provide accurate sales forecasts

EXPERIENCE
· 3-5 years of successful front line sales experience including strong "closing" skills
· Experience in sales preferably in a physician's office or other healthcare related industry
· Knowledge of the healthcare industry and general economics of business

EDUCATION

· Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or the Life Sciences
